Spring is in the Air and there are NEW Candles in the Store!
Greetings and welcome back!
I’m fresh (well, semi-fresh anyway) from another annual girls retreat and jazzed to dive into new projects. Evidently this included having to get nearly all of my website back up and running today. Sheesh. Who knew making one addition to the site last weekend could cause such havoc. Anywhoo, I realized this morning that my store, recipe box and a few other important sections of the site were missing. Yes, missing!!! What the heck?!? I think I have it all back but holy Hannah, what a P-A-I-N in the patookus.
Well anyway, on to the point of this here post. Winter here in Minnesota is (supposedly) on its way out if our good ol’ weatherman Sven is to be believed and I’m starting to feel more than a little Spring fever. Of course we still have quite a lot of snow on the ground but that doesn’t mean I can’t start gearing up for a Spring refresh, and what better time to launch a fresh quartet of candles?!?
I am super excited about these scents because they absolutely scream SPRING and really smell fantastic so I know you are going to love them as much as I do. Alright, let’s dive into the drool-worthy descriptions shall we?
You know that smell that comes right after a really good Summer rain when the grass is wet, the earth is bursting with promise and everything has that freshly washed scent? That, my friends, is After the Rain.
This candle is a fantastic addition to your bathroom collection or maybe the front entry. Your guests will feel like they just stepped into the great outdoors.
Get ready for a candle that really packs a punch. Fresh and zesty lime leads the way on this one with cool coconut right behind to smooth things out. This candle really does smell “happy”.
Happy Days is another great scent for entry ways or bathrooms when you are looking for something fresh and clean smelling.
My original blend for this scent was a lot softer, but this version will make even the white glove crowd jealous. Fresh, dried-on-the line cotton and crisp pine meld together in a scent that will make your whole house smell like you cleaned.
A universal, year round scent, Yep. I cleaned is a great one to kick of your first round of Spring cleaning.
And, finally, one for the guys… Classy, refined and clean, Earl Grey is just bold enough to appeal to the guys as well as the ladies. After all, who wouldn’t love an Earl in their life? Bergamot and a hint of cool pine blend together nicely in this bright and clean new scent.
Perfect for any room in the house.

I know that I promised to have some fun new lanyards and doggie leashes to share this month, and I am working toward that. With luck I’ll have them all ready in the next few days. I’m also working on a couple of quick greeting card tutorials that I think you’ll like. More on that as I get the parts and pieces of those together. Literally.
