Greetings all and happy Easter weekend! To celebrate, (and per my earlier promise) I’ve added a new little zip bag to the store that is just the cutest danged thing. Think mini microwave popcorn bag for the shape, which means this little darling EXPANDS to hold all kinds of stuff. Folded flat it’s a slight 1/2 inch thick, but zip it open, tuck in the essentials and it’ll expand to make room. Plus, it includes a lobster clip so you can snap it onto your key chain or just inside your bag and go.

We are getting ready to celebrate Easter this weekend with family and friends and a big Granite City-style brunch. For those of you unfamiliar with Granite City, it’s one of our favorite restaurant/microbreweries and their brunches are legendary. Like, make-reservations-or-you-may-have-a-hard-time-getting-a-table legendary. And yes. They are THAT good. Add in a fresh mimosa and I’m in heaven. Anyway, because I never do anything in the kitchen by half-measures, I have oodles of food prep ahead of me to truly give GC a run for their money. There’s also a house to clean and some last minute decorating to do, but I can’t wait to get everyone together again. I LOVE cooking for friends and family and Easter is one of my favorite holidays so it’s a win-win!
