Who let the dogs out?! Woof! Woof! Woof!
Greetings! Last week I launched a trio of doggie leashes and, I have to say, I was pretty darned pleased with myself. The designs were all fresh and fun and certainly different than anything you find in the pet store. They were (are) pretty dog-gone [pun intended] cute I thought. There’s just one problem. They’re girly. Hmmm. That’s not the vibe we want to convey at all! I don’t want anyone to think I don’t have anything here in my store for the gents out there. That’s just bad form!
Who can resist a sale?
So, this week I hit the local fabric store, where lucky me, they had a TON of the fabric I use to make these snazzy canine tethers on SALE! Whoohoo! Honestly I had a little trouble choosing just a few prints and I probably spent a tiny bit too much time wandering the store for other things, but give me a break. I don’t get out much. A trip to the fabric/craft store is like a trip to Disney for me. Ok, well maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but really, I could spend HOURS there. Yes. Hours.
And…just look at what I found!
BOY prints! Well, the bumble bees are probably tiptoeing over the line a bit, but the colors are less girly at least. I’d wager even the most manly of men and fiercest of Fido’s will be okay with these choices. Right?!? All three are live in the store and ready to go, and now that our Spring weather is giving Winter a good hard shove out the door, walking man’s best friend is likely on a lot of people’s minds. I know I’m itching to get outside for a nice long walk, and I don’t even own a dog! Hmmm…maybe I need to walk the hubby… Lord knows we could both use the exercise and fresh air.
