We are getting ready to celebrate Easter this weekend with family and friends and a big Granite City-style brunch. For those of you unfamiliar with Granite City, it’s one of our favorite restaurant/microbreweries and their brunches are legendary. Like, make-reservations-or-you-may-have-a-hard-time-getting-a-table legendary. And yes. They are THAT good. Add in a fresh mimosa and I’m in heaven. Anyway, because I never do anything in the kitchen by half-measures, I have oodles of food prep ahead of me to truly give GC a run for their money. There’s also a house to clean and some last minute decorating to do, but I can’t wait to get everyone together again. I LOVE cooking for friends and family and Easter is one of my favorite holidays so it’s a win-win!
