I love pasta. Especially when it’s covered in a rich red sauce. I also like trying out different kinds of pasta so when I stumbled on a package of Fussilloni at none other than my local Target store, I scooped it up along with a jar of red sauce and called it dinner. Well, along with the peppers, onion and sweet italian sausage that I already had at home.
Welcome back to part two of my bucket list of places to go in the world. My list is long and I can only hope to live long enough to visit them all but it’s good to dream, right?
I am thrilled to announce that I’ve just added four yummy new scents to the selection in my candle shop that are guaranteed to fit in with your Autumn plans. There’s a little bit here for everyone: cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel, mint, pine and juniper… whatever your favorite Autumn scents are, these four new blends are sure to please. Get ’em while you can though, because they’ll only be in the shop for a limited time!
There’s just something about a fresh, not-quite-Winter morning when the air is crisp and you can smell a hint of pine and leaves. Autumn is a delightful blend of cool, fresh pine, warm cinnamon and falling leaves.
This is a great, all-around clean Autumn scent. I tested it with men and women alike and it came up as a clear winner with both groups.
November in Minnesota is quite often chilly but there’s a crisp, cool quality to the air that tells you Winter is right around the corner. November Morning smells like fresh air, juniper and mint. Just right for a cozy blanket and a cup of hot cocoa.
One of the first Autumn blends I tried, this is one of my favorites. The scent is a little cooler to the nose than Autumn with more of a minty tone.
If you love the smell of pecan or pumpkin pie right out of the oven this candle is for you. Smooth, rich and dreamy, all this candle needs is a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to top it off!
Oh My Gourd smells good enough to eat. Seriously. If you like warm caramel, pecan and pumpkin this one will be a fast favorite. Light it an hour or so before your Thanksgiving guests arrive and they’ll think you’ve been baking all day.
My childhood was blessed with a lot of apple crisp and apple pie thanks to one or two especially prolific apple trees that were lovingly tended by my dad. Orchard Spice is a nod to my mother’s apple crisp. Full of bright, tart apples and an ample dash of cinnamon, this candle is sure to be an Autumn favorite.
Cinnamon and apple are always a great combination, but in the Autumn it makes me think of home. The cinnamon is strong in this one – think cinnamon red hots with a nice tart apple blended in. Yum!
This scent is only available until November 30
So, how’s that walking going?
Also, if you are curious to know how my 30-day walking challenge is going, skip on over to this page here to see how I am doing. I’ve been posting a little something daily in the diary there. Today, our weather is fantastic so I am looking forward to a nice long walk after the work day is done.
A few years ago, we took a trip to Ireland and spent eight days exploring the Southern and Western edges of the green isle. I wrote about this earlier this year in this post. What I didn’t say at the time is that I was […]
